Acadian wood carver Jamie Thibault has a studio locted in beautiful Grosses Coques, Nova Scotia. He has been carving for over 15 years. These pieces are hand carved in Jamie's basement from recycled and reclaimed hardwood. Bird's eye maple, cherry birch, clear maple, white birch burls, applewood, and red oak are used to create his art. He works with Tagua Nuts, creating custom pendants, commisioned rings and sculptures. He has finished his first violin and is starting another.
