Spellcaster Red Oak Wizard - The Spellcaster - 12 7/8 high, 7 3/4 wide, 2" thick. Hand carved using wood gouges, Took over 150 hours to create. Finished with hemp oil. Piece is signed and dated by the artist. This beautiful piece of wood was rescued from the scrap pile. Some boards had been left in a pile to rot. Tagua Skull Carved from a Tagua Nut also known as Corozo or Vegetable Ivory, the seed of the Ivory Palm found in South America. Used as a substitute for elephant ivory. This piece is very detailed & tiny. 1 1/4 wide, 1/2 thick, 1 1/4 high. Over 30 hours to create this small sculpture. Hemp Oil finish.
